Dr. G. Hasnain Tariq is currently working as assistant professor at Institute of Physics, Khwaja Fareed University of Information Technology Rahim Yar Khan, Pakistan and the Principal Investigator of Higher Education Commission Pakistan’s Funded NRPU Project, titled “Photovoltaic Materials Synthesis for Resourceful Energy Salvage”. Earlier, Dr. Hasnain was awarded scholarship under ‘INDIGENOUS 5000 fellowship program’ of Higher Education Commission, Pakistan in 2006 to pursue his MS leading to PhD studies in Department of Physics COMSATS Institute of information Technology Islamabad. In 2008, he completed his MS degree and in 2014 completed his PhD degree under supervision of Professor Dr. Muhammad Anis-ur-Rehman. Dr. Hasnain also availed six-month research fellowship through International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) of HEC and visited Cranfield University UK from May - Oct 2012. He worked there under supervision of Dr. David Lane and at Rutherford Laboratory, Department of Materials and Applied Science, Cranfield University, Defence Academy of the United Kingdom at Shrivenham, Swindon, Oxfordshire, where Dr. Hasnain worked as a visiting researcher in a project “Photovoltaic Materials for the 20th Century, The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) UK funded SUstainable PowER GENeration (SUPERGEN) Project, (EP/F029624/2) £1,806,675, (Mar 2011 – Sep 2012)”. Earlier Dr. Hasnain received his middle education from Elementary School Sitiana District Jhang, secondary education from Govt. high school Lawa District Attock (now Chakwal), intermediate and bachelor degree from Government College of Science Wahdat Road Lahore, and he did his MSc (Physics) from Govt College Chakwal. Dr. Hasnain has started his carrier in education department since 13th Feb 1997. Dr. Hasnain won first NRPU for KFUEIT in May 2019 and completed in May 2013. He supervised about of MS and PhD 50 research students.
