I am Dr. Amjad Khan, and currently I serve as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at Quaid-i-Azam University, one of Pakistan’s top-ranked institutions. I completed my PhD in Clinical Pharmacy from the prestigious Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Over the course of my career, I have received multiple academic awards and established strong research collaborations with leading institutions worldwide.
My academic record includes the publication of over 65 peer-reviewed articles, 7 international patents, and 16 book chapters. I have also played a prominent role in organizing and presenting at numerous national and international scientific conferences. As an HEC-recognized PhD supervisor, I have successfully supervised 22 MPhil/MS theses and currently supervise 3 MPhil and 5 PhD students as a principal supervisor. I have co-supervised research students from esteemed institutions such as the University of Oslo (Norway), University of Edinburgh (UK), and USM (Malaysia).
In addition to my academic engagements, I actively contribute as an editorial board member and reviewer for several high-impact journals, including those affiliated with The Lancet and the National Kidney Foundation (AJKD).
My research interests include medication safety, antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacist-led interventions in infectious diseases and nephrology, clinical pharmacy, health systems research and epidemiology, clinical trials and public health.
