I am a multidisciplinary science lover and eager to learn newer skills all the time. Now a days, I mostly work in developing and applying bioinformatics tools to explore quantitative genetics problem of linking genotypes and phenotypes (e.g., Genomic Predictions and Genome-wide Association Analysis) using both statistical genetics and machine learning / deep learning. For this, I am interested in improving methodologies by incorporating prior biological knowledge. Additionally, I am eager to develop innovative solutions for precise crop breeding and management by utilizing high-throughput phenotyping through drones and integration of IoTs.
Earlier, I worked on evolutionary bioinformatics of cotton genomics during my Norman E. Borlaug Fellowship in 2015 at Mississippi State University, Mississippi, USA.
Moreover, I worked on Cotton Leaf Curl Virus (CLCuV) diversity project, funded by USDA / ICARDA at NIBGE.
