Dr. Tariq Zaman is a Professor and Head of the Advanced Centre for Sustainable Socio-Economic and Technological Development (ASSET) at the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), Malaysia, with over two decades of interdisciplinary experience in academic research, project implementation, and community-based technology development. His expertise spans the installation, troubleshooting, and training of specialized ICT and digital inclusion infrastructure, particularly in remote, Indigenous, and underserved regions.
