Professor Dr. Nor Azura Md Ghani received her Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Statistics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1993, followed by a Master of Science (Statistics) from the same university in 1999, and a PhD in Statistics (Statistical Pattern Recognition) in 2009. She began her academic career as a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 1994 and is currently a Professor at the Center of Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, UiTM Shah Alam, Malaysia. She presently serves as the Director of the Research Management Centre (RMC), UiTM. Previously, she held several key leadership positions including Deputy Director (Research Impact) and Head of the Research Data Unit at RMC. Prof. Nor Azura has been actively involved in national and international conferences as a speaker and keynote presenter. She has successfully supervised numerous postgraduate students, including completed PhD and Master’s by research candidates. She has also led and participated in a wide range of externally and internally funded research projects, contributing significantly to research excellence, data-driven decision making, and innovation at institutional and national levels. She has authored numerous national and international publications. Her work has led to impactful projects in statistical data analytics, and she has received multiple national and international awards for her contributions to research excellence.
