Dr. Abdul Jabbar brings 26 years of rich experience in academia, research, and management, specializing in Color Science, Polymers, Dyestuff Chemistry, and Fibre Modification. His background from the University of Leeds underpins a career dedicated to innovation and sustainable practices. He has actively fostered Academia-Industry relationships, secured R&D grants, and organized numerous national and international conferences. With an entrepreneurial mindset and strong industry ties, Dr. Jabbar is also a qualified sustainability manager, proficient in effluent management and sustainability reporting. His expertise extends to quality assurance, having served as Director QEC and a trained IPE auditor for HEC.
Dr. Jabbar's doctoral research focused on Environment Friendly dyeing of Cotton. This involved pretreating cellulose with cross-linking agents and using modified reactive dyes to enhance conventional reactive dyeing.
