Engr. Ishfaque Khanzada currently holds the position of Information and Communication Technology Expert in the Central Communication Network department at the University of Karachi responsible for managing and administering the overall ICT Infrastructure of the whole organization, significantly contributing to the technological backbone of one of the country's pre-eminent national institution.
He is a PhD Scholar in Computer System Engineering at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan specializing in Cybersecurity & Threat Intelligence. His key research areas are Threat Intelligence, Attack surface and Attack vectors, Next-Gen Datacenters designs.
Engr. Khanzada is M.E.(Computer Engineering) and B.S.(Computer Engineering) from renowned national institution of Pakistan. He further delved into Cybersecurity, earning a Postgraduate diploma in "Digital Forensics." Proceed ahead his professional certifications includes Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE), Fortinet Network Security certifications (NSE1 & NSE2), Certified Network Security Specialist from the International Cybersecurity Institute (ICSI), Aviatrix Certified Engineer (ACE) on Multi-Cloud Networking, Huawei certified "Fusion Compute resource," and AWS Certified Solutions Architect (AWS-SAA), Certified Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate, Certified Cybersecurity Educator Professional (CCEP), Certified Microsoft SC-900 on Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Certified Network Security Practitioner (CNSP), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Additionally, he is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council.
Beyond academia, Engr. Khanzada has a proven track record of successful implementations and major deployments. He has served as a Lead Technology Expert in various national and multinational organizations and as a technology consultant for prominent national institutions, including SHEC, Board of Intermediate Karachi, Dawood Engineering University, Board of Technical Education Karachi, Sindh Police, and SPPRA.
Engr. Khanzada is recognized by various professional and technical bodies. He is a Senior Member of the Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) and an accredited Engineer by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He is the authorized focal person of HAINA (HUAWEI Authorized Information and Network Academy) and holds diverse responsibilities within the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) USA, particularly in IEEE Region 10, including IEEE Young Professional and IEEE Computer Society. He is also a member of the global Internet Society (ISOC).
Notably, he serves as the Chairman for the Technical Committee of the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), specializing in "Card and Security Devices for Personal Identification," contributing to national standards and representing his country in international ISO technology standards.
With over 14 years of dedicated ICT infrastructure and autonomous systems development experience he has led numerous multi-million rupees projects in both governmental and private sectors, significantly enhancing the nation's IT growth and modernization. As a dedicated IEEE volunteer for over a decade, his numerous publications and presentations reflect his commitment to ICT advancements. His community service further demonstrates his dedication to using his skills for societal benefit.
