With nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of science, policy, and innovation, I specialize in intellectual property (IP) strategy and management, technology transfer, and research commercialization—particularly in health and biotechnology. Holding a PhD in Technology Management and an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Turin and done BSc in chemical engineering, I’ve led transformative initiatives at National Research Institute for Science Policy (NRISP) and the Pasteur Institute of Iran (my home institute for 19 years), where I currently serve as Senior Advisor on Technology Policy. Beside my professional experience as head of IPMC in Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, I’ve designed national STI policies, managed IP portfolios, and launched startup incubation programs that bridge research and market. As Head of NRISP’s Knowledge Management and Commercialization Group and responsible for international affairs, I drive the translation of scientific outputs into socio-economic value. I’ve delivered over 100 training workshops on IP and innovation for researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers across Iran and internationally. Recognized among the Top 100 Influential Women Leaders in IP (2025), I am deeply committed to advancing women in STEM, strengthening innovation ecosystems, and shaping policies that foster sustainable scientific progress.
